The Librarian at John Muir
Mr Healey lives nearby with his wife and 2 boys, along with a dog and 2 parakeets. He coaches Little League baseball and has played drums since he was about 8 years old. Before becoming a librarian he managed a graphic arts studio for a large advertising firm. Mr. Healey grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts and graduated from Babson College (Wellesley, MA) and St. Mary's College (Moraga, CA).

Steve - these are awesome! How did you do them? Was it with the software that Becca has centrally, or did you make them on your own? Where are you hanging them up?
I would really like to do this with teachers/staff at my school.
I agree, you have done a stellar job with the posters. I hope you are sharing your blog with the staff of the school, too.
I like that you started incorporating links, makes it so easy to go back and forth. You might want to consider the "literary awards" link to be the general listing of different awards at http://www.ala.org/ala/alsc/awardsscholarships/literaryawds/literaryrelated.htm
rather than the one just about the Newbery, as some folks might miss that there are many other award lists linked on the left. Also, remembering what all the different award categories are is difficult with just the name, but the brief description helps.
These posters are so cool! I'd like to know how you did them as well. I'd LOVE to do it here!
